Tesco’s Vivo Baked Blushers and Bronzer Review

I picked these up on a whim a few months ago, when both the colours and price tag caught my eye whilst perusing the isles of Tesco. On first look they have a striking resemblance to the MAC Mineralize Skinfinishes. They are bold coloured blushes with a marbled highlight running through them.
The blushes come in two colours, Peaches and Cream and Rosy (my fav) both have an amazing colour payoff, staying power and give cheeks a dewy spring look. The illuminating sheen the blushes have mean you don’t need to use a highlighter, making them a perfect pick for a minimal make up bag.
I chose the baked bronzer is the shade Sunkissed, which was the lighter of the two. It is much more of a highlighter and looks amazing teamed with a matte bronzer for a summery make up look.
Since owning these products I haven’t felt then need to reach for anything else. They give my face the brightening lift I need and are the perfect spring/summer boost to my make up bag.

Sanctuary 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask

Sanctuary 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask : £10.50

This was a cheeky purchase from boots a few weeks ago when my skin was in serious need of some TLC. I definitely hadn’t been looking after it as much as normal and you could see it all over my face (excuse the pun) My skin had become fatigued, spotty and oilier than normal and make-up was making it worse.
Thermal masks aren’t really something I have experimented with before but I was definitely in need of a facial detox so this one caught my eye. This product is supposed to purify; sooth; cleanse and rebalance skins natural oil levels, so basically it is everything my oily faced self could ever need in a tube. I must admit I was a little dubious of a product that said it could do all of these things in just 5 minutes but I was definitely enticed.
You are supposed to apply the product twice a week to your freshly cleansed face and let it warm and cool whilst you relax for 5 minutes. I admit I may not have been using it religiously twice a week but I have definitely given it a good go to get a final verdict.
The formula is thick and clay like and applies smoothly to the face. I would definitely NOT recommend applying it in any other room than your bathroom because your hands will become caked in it and only water will get it off. Unlike a lot of face masks this one doesn’t dry hard and make your face feel tight.  It remains damp for the entire time it is on your face, so when 5 minutes is up, you’re not left endlessly scrubbing it off your face.
After a good few weeks of using the mask I was sadly left a little unfulfilled. My face felt clean and soft after each application but I definitely didn’t feel the special detoxing effects the product promised and saw no difference in the amount of oil my face produced during the day. I was really hoping to find a hidden high-street gem in this product but unfortunately it let me down.
